We recently enjoyed a family vacation at Escondite in Tarifa, and I'd like to share our experience. While I was initially hesitant due to its absence on Tripadvisor, I'm glad we booked it. Nestled in the heart of Tarifa's old town, the hotel offers an open, airy design that cleverly preserves its historical charm while providing modern comforts. Our two-year-old loved the spacious lounge area filled with games. It was a haven for families like ours, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Although the rooftop terrace wasn't open due to the off-season, we took advantage of the charming library stocked with DVDs, allowing for cozy family movie nights. One morning, I discovered that the breakfast options went beyond standard fare. Jose, the owner, even prepared eggs for me, adjusting to my diet needs while keeping it family-friendly. The high-quality bedding ensured we all rested well, and we appreciated the convenient location near beaches and restaurants. In short, the Escondite is an excellent choice for families seeking a blend of comfort and charm in Tarifa. We would happily return, making more memorable family adventures together.
